Weather · June
Frigiliana weather in June.
The biggest village month of the first half — the patron saint's feria on the 13th, then the solstice bonfires of San Juan on the 23rd.
What June feels like in Frigiliana
June is when summer arrives properly. Daytime highs settle at 27–29°C, rainfall effectively stops, and the sea climbs to 21°C — warm enough for long swims. The village has two of its biggest dates of the year: the Feria de San Antonio on 13 June (Frigiliana's patron saint, five days of music and processions either side), and the Noche de San Juan on 23–24 June (summer solstice bonfires, mostly on Burriana Beach down in Nerja). Peak-season prices start mid-month; book ahead for the feria weekends.

Frigiliana vs Nerja in June
Frigiliana sits at 300m elevation, six kilometres inland and uphill from Nerja. That elevation difference makes the village consistently 1–2°C cooler than the Nerja coast — most noticeably in summer afternoons and evenings. In June, expect Nerja to be one or two degrees warmer on the warmest part of the day, with the gap narrowing in the cooler months. Sea temperatures (around 21°C) are the same whether you swim from Burriana or from one of the secluded coves at Maro.
